Podcasting
I’ve been podcasting since January 2020 (yes, I started BEFORE the pandemic, okay??) and have found it to be a lovely way to express myself that complements my love of writing. My main squeeze in the podcasting world is the show I produce and co-host: Sex Ed Shouldn’t Suck.

Every week, we interview people about their sex ed experience in school, at home, online, or wherever they got it. Our main goal is to shed light on the importance of pleasure-focused, comprehensive, inclusive, and medically-accurate sex education by laughing at how sucky sex ed was for most.
My work on the podcast involves sourcing guests, planning episode outlines, editing, marketing, and hosting, of course! You can find Sex Ed Shouldn’t Suck on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or anywhere else you like to get your podcasting goodies.
Want to hear me talk on other podcasts? You can check out my interviews as a guest on the podcast Work Sucks, I Know! and more (coming soon).
I also work as a podcast producer and editor part-time at a podcast studio in Sacramento. My duties include studio set-up and tear-down, monitoring levels, and editing episodes in post-production.
Guess what else? I’m also available for hire! Podcasting is one of my favorite things to do, whether it’s mulling over ideas for shows, scripting episodes, pitching guests, editing audio files to perfection––you name it. Check out my Connect With Me page to learn more.
